May i show adshack banners on the same page as other 3rd party advertising banners?
Sure. Certainly from our perspective we do not have any restrictions on the displaying of adshack banners on the same page or site as other 3rd party advertiser banners. There are obvious limitations as to what types of adshack banners we are happy for you to display with your content but these are more in line with our banners matching your content. If you are in any doubt as to whether our banners can be displayed with that of another provider you should check with this other provider first

Is my content important?
Yes. We strictly prohibit adshack banners appearing with content that is unrelated, of bad taste or is illegal. For instance, if your site is about horse riding, we do not expect you to choose a category that shows financial tags / ads e.g. We will also terminate with immediate effect any publisher who’s site contains content that could be regarded as being hate related, violent or contain any other material, products or services that violate or encourage conduct that would violate any criminal laws, any other applicable laws or any third party rights. If you are unsure about your site and/or your content, send us a mail and we’ll do our best to clarify things for you.

Are there any penalties for not having content?
Yes and no. Adshack is designed for web publishers that wish to make money and enhance the appearance of their website/s. Moreover, we also require our banners to match the content of publishers websites as closely as possible. However, we also have a “full page” directory style banner that can be used in place of site content. To obtain initial account approval however its recommended publishers apply with a tangible website and one which we can see would give value to our advertisers ads being displayed on it.

How many banners may I show per page?
There are no limits as to how many ad blocks you may show per page. All we ask is that they match your site/s content. As per our TOS, its important to note here that we do not approve of our ads showing on sites that can commonly be called "made for adsense" and publishers who so maybe terminated without notice. If you are in any doubt about showing multiple ad blocks on a single page we recommend you contacting us for clarification.

Do you have advertisers for all verticals / categories?
Yes. Uniquely, we have our own core advertiser base, plus a backfill from the leading ad networks. Rest assured, whatever your content, we will have advertisers to match.

May I encourage people to click on your banners / ads or do so myself?
No. This is strictly forbidden. You may not request that your visitors click the ads on your site or rely on deceptive implementation methods to obtain clicks. We reserve the right to terminate publisher accounts with immediate effect and also to inform the relevant authorities if a publisher is believed to be fraudulently encouraging clicks. Any terminated account will also lose any payment that had been previously accrued.

How do I not get terminated?
Simple. Display our banners in the light for which they are intended, that is for the sole benefit of the visitors to your site. We maintain a continuous publisher scoring mechanism and, prior to terminating any account, we will try and work as pro-actively as possible with a publisher to try and put things right.

Can anyone join adshack as a publisher?
Anyone can apply. We obviously have to maintain a strict and vigilant program that protects our advertisers both proactively and reactively. To this extent we will asses each application thoroughly and may need to speak with you on the phone or contact you in person in order to verify your contact information. In any respect, we will assess all applications as quickly as possible.

What countries is adshack available in?
Whilst in a beta stage we are solely focused on the UK market and UK publishers. We hope to extend our coverage to other European countries and to the US / N.America by the end of the year.

Will i get paid for clicks made by visitors from other countries?
Depends on the country and the vertical in question. In the majority of cases, visitors from other countries will see your ads and you will be paid for any clicks made.

What are the different ad banners you offer?
We offer a contextual banner product that seeks to match advertisements with your content, category based image and tag banners and web2.0 “cloud tag” style banners. All are designed to enhance the aesthetics of your site. To see all our banner options visit here

I have multiple sites, can I use a single publisher account and can I display your banners on other sites owned by me?
Yes. Provided the site/s in question are owned and operated by you, you may use a single publisher account provided prior approval is obtained beforehand. If you know in advance that you wish to display our banners on multiple sites, the best option is to include all your sites when you sign up.

What if I believe someone is maliciously clicking my ads?
Difficult question. If you believe someone is deliberately or maliciously clicking your ads, contact us as soon as possible giving us as much information as you know. In the majority of cases we will work closely with a publisher to ensure the problem is eradicated.

Sure. We have multiple self-serve publisher tools that allow you to create unique banners that match, standout and enhance your site.

Yes. Provided your advertising is aimed at your site content and not at our advertising banners.

How contextual are your banners?
We crawl the content of your site/s where our banners appear and look to closely match advertisements with content using our proprietary algorithm and scoring mechanism. We also give you some control over what advertisements you would like to suggest appear. This is done by changing the keyword= parameter in your ad code. Only advanced users should attempt this however and changing the keyword is the only custom code edit we allow

Do you offer an XML exportable solution?
For large publishers we do currently offer our ad feed via XML. This is strictly for publishers who achieve substantial page views per month and are proficient at XML parsing and integration.

How much will I earn and what is my revenue share?
Whilst we do not disclose the revenue share, publishers receive the lions share of the ad revenue and is uncapped and unlimited. We also firmly believe we will monetize your site better than any of the current market alternatives.

What are the minimum requirements that a website has to meet?
Any publishers who have unique and compelling websites are eligible to join. There are no minimum traffic requirements and no criteria - aside that laid down in our terms and conditions. This generally means we will exclude any websites that contain information or content that could be considered offensive.
During our beta evaluation phase we are generally approving publishers that have websites which are English speaking and are UK / EU centric. We hope to extend to publishers outside of this region over the coming months

Why are my revenue stats showing in Dollars, I thought you were a UK Company?
Yes, currently the default currency is in US dollars. We hope to bring multi-currency support to our system in the near future, for now all paypal payments will be paid in USD, though check and wire will be in GBP where appropriate.

This will probably due to your account not being approved yet. If you have received notification that your publisher account has been approved and you are still not seeing this information, please contact us.

Ive been refused an account, what can i do?
Not every site which we review for inclusion meets our criteria. We want to ensure that all our publishers produce quality traffic which will give value for money; not just for our advertisers but also to ensure that our publishers get the highest RPC for their traffic.
Should you be refused an account and havent been suspended from our program previously you are more than welcome to apply with an alternate website.
