What we feel strongly about..
At AdShack.com, and in turn at our parent company 1plus.net, we feel strongly about protecting the environment, on our carbon footprint and on supporting good causes.
Without wanting to sound even in the slighest bit pretentious, at AdShack.com and at all of the 1plus.net group businesses we pride ourselves on considering the affect our business decisions have on the environment. From encouraging our staff to use bicycles in order to get to work to using electric cars for short trips; the common goal at our business is on achieving a zero carbon footprint.
With regard good causes, we serve an estimated 10million banner impressions per month across our network, this number increases each month. On occasions we have the opportunity to serve free website links to agreed upon good causes. This program is just been launched and so, for a “first-out-the-box” program, we are proud to be supporting Kiva.org.
Kiva.org is non-profit and allows people to lend as little as $25 to a specific low-income entrepreneur in the developing world.
You choose who to lend to - whether a baker in Afghanistan, a goat herder in Uganda, a farmer in Peru, a restaurateur in Cambodia, or a tailor in Iraq - and as they repay their loan, you get your money back. It’s a powerful and sustainable way to empower someone right now to lift themselves out of poverty.
Kiva (and other causes) are part of our public service ad network. Deserved causes that wish to be considered for inclusion in the AdShack Public Service network should complete the form below detailing the website you wish to be included in our program. Whilst we cannot guarantee inclusion into our network or how many visitors we will be able to refer to each site per month we can assure all applicants that each will be assessed throughly.
